Best environment of any bank of worked for yet. However, you still have
to accept a lot of old white guys trying to figure out how to work
computers, playing way too much golf and spending a good portion of
their day working on their portfolios. But as things go a lot of hard
workers, bright people with strong experience. And an appreciation for
minimizing the effects of politics on the work place. Diversity?
They're trying. Compensation, they tried but failed - unless of course
you're snug and aligned as a private banker. Need to thin out some of
the 60+ crowd and all those locals that have 25+ years at the
organization. And geez - how come the stock is in the crapper? May
have something to do with the "nice guy" CEO. But, I don't think I'd
work across town or at a NY Money Center back again - too many slaggards
with too big egos. But it is indicative that big brother denied me
access to Vault.com on my work desktop...!
