Job Title Interview Survey
Business Analyst I did not go to a core school for McKinsey recruiting. I sent in a letter to an alumni from my school. He passed my resume along to the recruiter in Houston. She called me and set up interviews in Houston (I was living in New Orleans at the time). I had two interviews that day - cases (the math/sizing kind where they ask you to estimate how many ping pong balls are in the world). They were with engagement managers. I went home and received a call back the following day inviting me for round two. Round two was five interviews. Four with managers, one with a partner. These were business cases - how would you increase revenue for a shoe retailer? My client says profits are down - what would you investigate? I left that day exhausted. I received a call within a week that I had an offer! It was one of the most exciting moments of my life.
