Being a Mary Kay Independant Beauty Consultant has been one of the most
rewarding choices I have ever made. I set my own hours, choose who I
want to work with and where. This is a company for every woman (or man)
who wants to change her outlook on life and put her priorities in
order. Thanks to this company I have freedom for my family. It is a
company based on putting faith, family, and career in perspective and
also working by the golden rule.You choose when you're ready to
advance. You are paid what you are worth because you decide. We are a
dual marketing company. Which means everybody buys their product from
the company at the same price. There is no middle man. It is not a get
rich quick sceme. It is a job. You do have to work to be successful.
They do ask that when you are workiing you wear professional dress. By
this they mean a skirt or dress suit, panty hose, closed toe shoes,
etc. Consider what a lawyer would wear to court and go from there.
After all, you are the CEO of your own company.
You do not have to come into the company with inventory. However, I
highly reccomend it. At least $1,800.00 to start. It makes it much
easier to service your customers. Customer service is the most
important part of the job. It is not possible to move up in this
company without helping some one else move up first. You start as an
Independant Beauty Consultant, then become a director, than the next
step is National Sales Director. Our Nationals are some of the highest
paid women in the country.
Besides earning 50% commission on our personal sales, the company also
sends a "love checks" or commissions on our personal recruits every
month. ranging from4% to 13%. You can earn the use of a company car.
First a red Pontiac Vibe, then the platinum Grand Prix, then the famous
pink Cadillac. You get a new car every two years. The company pays the
tax, tiltle, liscence, and registrattion. Plus 85% of the drivers
insurance, plus, a second driver drives for free.
