Right is a great place to work. The corporate culture is open,
innovative, and positive. With recent acquisitions, including the
integration of Manpower's Empower Group into the existing Right
consulting practice, Right has the largest OD practice in the world, in
several different spheres of expertise. Accordingly, there are great
opportunities to advance and to work with industry leaders. Compared
to other big consulting firms, Right has much more respect for work-
life balance - you can actually have a life outside of work and even
see your children (gasp!) Right OD consultants work hard and are
expected to perform at a very high standard, but have more manageable
hours and less travel than a lot of other firms. Right career
transition consultants seem to have lower caseloads than their
counterparts at the primary competitors, and again, are expected to
perform at a high standard but not to sacrifice their personal lives.
Dress code, of course, is business; hours are what you'd expect (8-5
for the office, whatever it takes for professional staff.) The staff at
Right are very warm and personable; the environment is very team-
oriented. This is reflected in the incentive compensation plan, which
builds in rewards for team performance on the local and regional level
as well as companywide.
