| Business Manager |
It's the kind of atmosphere that challenges you to grow and take on
more responsibility. Most everyone here started and an intern. The
company is small - only about 10 full-time employees. We do a lot with
consultants. The office is young and a great cross section of the
metro life in New York. We are all very diverse, but a lot a like
too. That helps with the work atmosphere. Dress code is casual (VERY
on some days) and the hours are very flexible. We have projects to get
done. As long as they get done, no one is really watching the clock.
Opportunities to advance are great and limited all at the same time.
We have a lot of roles that need to be filled and most titles have the
word Manager after them. There may not be a position already in place
to aspire too...so you find the need and build your own position. The
Prinicipal understands the she has a staff of creative people and uses
that to help the business grow. We all have input and regular
brainstorming sessions. If we have an idea, we share and usually get
the green light.
