For the most part mci stands for many changes instantly. I started out
in small business long distance then went to local to local repair to
small business local to small business local repair. In less than 5
yrs. I feel the key to working at MCI is being flexible. Some of
those
transitions were voluntary and others were not. I prefer the repair
department due to it not having sales goals that the customer service
jobs have. And that being a supervisory position (but not a
supervisor). The official dress code is business casual in most places
although the reality is more like casual with an occasional business
professional just to keep you off balance. This is in the call
centers. I feel alot of politics are associated with promotions. But
changing segments and schedules can be frequent and with an assumed
merger comming up hold on to your hats but not in most buildings.
