The company was relaxed, with very informal dress codes. Our division
offered many perks, including a fully equipped gym that employees were
encouraged to use, a quiet room, a recreational space that included a
pool table and ping pong.
The work level was intense, however, with very little time for doing
anything but produce. About a third of the staff were from India,
another third from the Orient, and the remaineder from all over. We had
an incredibly diverse staff, but much camaraderie. That was enhanced by
staff activities that were interdepartmental, and by parties for
everyone late on an occasional Friday.
I didn't find opportunities for advancement, but didn't seek them.
