They branched out into other states and lost money. Many stores were modernized but this cost a lot of money and lost it as well. New concept stores were opened and new sectors were started. They started as a sit down cafeteria style business and changed to that plus to go orders/ drive thrus, etc. They have had weak CEO's...... one comitted suicide, one had no restaurant experience and nearly bankrupt them and left. They were known as economical good food but prices are much higher and quantity and quality has lessened. They got new leaders in 2001 with a head for restaurant business but they have lost the reputation they had.
