Silviculture Forester The salary range for my position is approximately 55-90,000 (canadian dollars), depending upon experience and years with the company. Medical and dental plans are provided. The pension plan offered is a base rate contribution by the company, then an opportunity for the employee to contribute as well (with the company matching 1% for every 2% the employee contributes - up to 3% additional company contribution). There are no signing bonuses, or regular production bonuses. Employees who have worked for the company for 7 years or less recieve 3 weeks paid vaction. After 7 years the amount can go up to a max of 5 weeks based on years worked. Company vehicles are not provided, but the company will pay each employee a km rate or monthly rate to use there personal vehicles for work. However, there are minimum standards for vehicles used for work (4x4 truck less than 5 years old).
