Times are tough but major strides are being made to revitalise the
supply chain, engage customers and consumers, reduce fixed costs and
embrace a more flexible and appropriate financial platform for the
future. It has to noted however that the somewhat insular and arrogant
Danish mindset and culture could continue to hinder the pace and scale
of change this business needs to survive and it's private family owned
status may become increasingly fragile if turnaround is not
forthcoming... there is no doubt that major multinational toy
manufacturers would love to own this brand and intellectual capital.
Success will come if the leaders can deliver the change they talk about
and make the tough decisions they need to make.
