Working at kmart has been, an up and down four years. I have been
through the changes some for the good, and also the bad. The people that
i work with is pretty good. everyone have there day's, the mangement
team on a scale of 1 to 10 i would give them a 5. our head boss mr.
mason keep a very plesant smile at all times, no matter what the
problem. on the other hand, we have this other assistance manger name
tracie anderson, always seen to be so stress. her attiude towards
coustomes and associate in the store is not acceptable at times. she
only work one night out of the week, her shift is always fully staff. on
other night's when the others mangers closed is no help because for one
she does the schulde every week. I think this is not fair when the other
mangers have to fill the hardship, and she does not. other mangers sit
on the floor, and complaints about this. I guss they are afraid of
complaing, to mr.mason. other wise i guss everything else is ok, just
hope we get some more hours. alot of coustmer are complaing about the
lines, because we have no help. The department mangers is losing alot of
time out of there depatment, because of having to spend half of the day
on the front end. we have dozen of applaction everyday, our manger's
tell us that we are in the process of hiring, but no result as we speak.
I am not trying to say that kmart is a hell hole, but there is room for
much more improvent. our theft in our store have growing very high, when
kmart cut back on associate hour, and make every loss control associate
full time something worng. we have four loss control associate in our
store that is full time, and they have second jobs. when we can't even
get hire a parttimer to get carts. I been working for kmart for four
years, and they alawys tell us things are getting better. But result are
not there, Kmart have one of the biggest turnover rates and hiring vs
firing. My store is located in Daytona Beach Fl, to whom this my
concern, hope you visit sometimes.
