I suspose this Company will continue to operate this Faclity .
It has restructurd several times in the past. Starting out as Hillhaven
Nursing Facility.Then to Vencore. and now Rehab And Health Care of
Alamance.This facility has had many bad referances attached to it for
many years.Has had many state fines, and defeciences that it had to re
vamp. and rename.Moral is poor most of the time because it can't keep
quality employee's. There are many times that there arent enough
supplies or you have to find alternative methods to use untill supplies
arrive. Even so there are many who have tried to make a difference.The
facility is old and hard to up keep I feel that it can't possibly
continue to meet standards.
This faclity is not consistant in managing staff. untill they have A
near major Problem . They are good at covering up there Mistakes.
The Administrator loves her facility she has over 20 years there .
However I feel she falls short in her resonsibilities, mainly toward the
staff that is hired.This facility I have learned has a lot of repeat
hires. Those that have been dischared or quit.The present DON is not
consistant with her rule.However she is qulified for the position.
Staff are allowed to be late frequently some on a regular basis and has
an understanding with the DON on why they can;t be there. at start of
sift. Some nurses are late consistantly, and they are not even addrssed.
This facility is trying to be better at retention and customer service.
They have commities structured, But with the constant turn over this
will slip through the cracks.It will haveto be constantly monitored and
commities members will be discharged or quit theit jobs and their
commite places will not be replaced untill they realize that it's not
getting better and start all over again.The services They offer is
valuable and I feel that they do a fair job.But people expect more and
they ar frowned upon because the facility is old. But Basicly it is
clean,repairs are made, Residents are safe.This Co. does advertise , the
compitition is great there are many quality facilities in this immediate
area.And this is a growing indistory in this area where there is a great
need.
but it may be a frutial effort.
