I will address the area I am familair with - the projection television
cabent and laminated office furniture portion. We have been a leader in
the projection cabinetry business for years. We have been subjected to
some very stiff competiton in the recent years and this has affected our
volume. We have also set up satellite facilites in Juarez, Mexico;
Mexicali, Mexico; and Nashville, Tennessee. This resulted in a slow down
but we are bringing in other product to run. We are, at this time, in a
hiring stage. I feel flexcel Santa Claus will continue to be the leader
in this type of business based on Quality, on time delivery, and the
ability to handle volume.
Our laminated office furniture remains strong. We are working diligently
to deliver more product with a reduced staff.
Morale had taken a hit due to the slow down we experienced in the past
nine months. I do see a renewed enthusiasm as people realize that we are
recovering and moving forward.
