When I first started working at Ketchum it was great. It was a very
relaxed enviroment - everybody worked hard and did a great job. We had
fun but also got the job done. Since the change in management around
January 2002 - the atmosphere has changed, nobody likes coming to work,
you feel like you are in jail and someone is always watching what
you're doing. The new director walks up and down the aisles watching
everyone closely making sure that they are working and not talking. You
feel like you are in dentention. Granted they are trying to make a
difference but I believe the only way to change the atmosphere is by
getting rid of the new director and going back to the way things used
to be. The hours are 9 - 5 but you are expected to put in more time
than that. The dress code is very casual. The opportunities for
advancement are good if you are well liked.
