Basically, interviewing as a Realtor at that time was simple, as most
companies are attempting to recruit sales persons. In effect, the
roles are reversed from the traditional--the interviewee is attempting
to ascertain whether the brokerage is a good fit. However, the
brokerage often wants to guarantee that the salesperson will be a full-
time individual and one who warrants the desk space. In my case, it
was an hour meeting with the manager of the office. Questions ranged
from my experience prior to coming into real estate to my interests in
sales, and my education. There were quite a few hypothetical questions
regarding how to troubleshoot sales situations.
