Job Title Workplace Survey
Audit Intern This was a structured program, which gave each intern school credit. January to March is known as "Busy Season," so the Big 4 needs quite a few warm bodies around to help out on the audit. The most difficult aspect of the job was actually getting it, and that was not too onerous. The hours were fairly long, typically 60 hours per week, including some weekends. Good aspects of the job included getting exposure to what an auditor actually does on a day to day basis, working with young people who value a social life, and getting to see the inner workings of some of the largest corporations in the country. The negative aspects included the long and boring hours, often being relegated to making copies, and being treated somewhat poorly due to your position as an intern. The money was pretty good though.
