There was an ad in the paper for the position and I went to the store on
Duval street to apply. I brought my resume and references with me. The
interview was conducted by the assistant manager and was fairly
informal. Key West is pretty laid back, but I still dress properly for
an interview. You need to come across as responsible and tidy. In a
town like Key West there ar many transient workers and the company is
keen on getting people who will: a. show up for work, b. be prompt and
polite, c. wish to stay with the company for a good lenght of time.
There was only one interview and it consisted of the usual questions
such as: what is a strenght that you posses, what hours are you able to
work, can you work weekends, do you have customer service experience.
and that sort of thing. The manager will call you if you are accepted
for the position.
