I developed health problems and finally found out that I had M.S. I had worked for this company for 35 years and had a good record. The year I found out I had M.S. they had to have a layoff, and guess what I got terminated. I decided to take my retirement, and was penelized because of my age.We never got any of the benefits that NOrthrup Gruman has. So I lost my long term disability and my life insurance and had to pay a lot more for my health insurance. I was not the only one that got this wonderful treatment,so I think employees should know how a company can be when you loose your health. We were given severance pay for six months if we would promise to never sue because of discrimination. Yes, at times I feel bitter, then other times I feel very lucky to be able to enjoy some of my life now. thank you for letting me express myself.
