Following a period of hard negotiation, I secured the following package,
(for
the above position): Annual Salary - 60,000 GBP PA
Grade Up-Lift from F'Grade Manager to E'Grade Manager which provided an
improved
all-round package. E.G. Maximum bonus potential of 40%PA from 33%PA.
Higher
value
company car etc.
Since joining the company, I have had the opportunity to purchase share
options
at favourable rates (management share purchase scheme) and as a
consequence, I
currently hold a significant value (in shares) in the company. Vacation
time is
'fixed' to 25 days PA but since 1991, I've raely had enough available
time to
enable me to use all of my holiday entitlement. The company is
pretty 'straight
down the middle' and so I enjoy no 'perks' other than my standard, but
negotiated
package, however I believe this to the the correct formula as 'perks'
can often
lead to greed.......open and commonly known equality is, in my opinion,
the most
appropriate method of operating.
