At my hire the process was very simple and quite kindly in nature. The
operations manager kept matters friendly and genuine with intent to
hire.
However, later as corporate policy became more centered the process was
altered
to be more for screening. this process makes good sense if it is done
for good
reason and in a friendly, helpful manner, but usually it was not.
Conversing
with screeners and 1st interview supervisors the
process began to take on a "hire if I like you" and "hire if I'm not
threatened
by you" posture. Very little genuine kindness or concern for the
candidate was
given and instead when someone was not hired and quickly dismissed a
poking fun
of them was done by the interviewer with
coworkers afterwards.
