Due to the high turn high tech nature of this job the pace can be
hurried but
middle management tries to keep open communication on a personal level to
minimize tension. Initiated by one is the weekly ice cream social where
all are
invited to sit and share conversation during an ice cream break. The
corporate
influence is not as welcome due to it's mock interest in the
individual. Often
questions for open forum are asked for, but are followed by discipline
for frank
responses not in step with a senior members focus. Advancement is more
for
those
who
dance. Those who do not play, find advancement promised for
accomplishments,
but delays and stalls at every turn until new employment is sought.
