The company is EXTREMELY diverse. Here you will meet people from all
over the world. Every department is diverse to maintain the need for
national and international interests.
Dress Code:
Casual code of dress.
Hours:
Depending on your position, department and faith. OT is plentiful and
the hours usually range from 9-5, to shift work.
Opportunities for advancement:
There is a ton of that. You will have that chance throughout your
career at IDT - however they seem to always try to low ball you at any
chance that can. Salary and advancement at IDT do not go hand and hand
especially in the "non jewish world." This is not to say that some of
us are not paid well, but for the most part the underlying tone of this
world is that they are not and unhappy with it - but seems that they
trade knowledge as the driving force to stay at IDT and the friends you
make along the way. (To me thats a tone of people livng in a time where
the industry is down and the fear of moving on is capitalized on by the
upper levels of the company). If you are right out of college this is a
great company to at least start your career with and build your
skillset.
Why am I still with the company?:
My time is coming when I will move on and further my career as well.
