The other business I don't know as well, but gnerally speaking Honeywell's model has been to buy up businesses with strong market presence, move home grown management in to drive process efficiency into them, milk them for cash, and use that cash to fund the next acquisition. There's been less of that since the bubble burst, but it's still deeply ingrained on the way we do business.
