The interview process was quite standard. These guys are very laid
back. You start the day at about 8 am and do some paperwork (on a
computer screen) about your current job, salary, etc., and then meet up
with the HR person you talked to. Then, you get a tour of the facility
with the HR person and then start off your interview in the building
and
floor you'll be working on. The people I interviewed with were pretty
busy with their work, and they were so swamped that I think they
favored
hiring an FTE (me). The interview day lasted from 9-3 pm. Before
arriving, I had actually requested that I arrive a couple days earlier
to scope out Saint Pete and Tampa Bay... I absolutely love the area.
That made my decision to come here a lot easier. The interview
questions weren't hard, considering that I'm an analyst. It was mostly
behavioral questions rather than quantitative. Depending on the person
you interview with, you may get a quant question. There aren't any
mathematical pre-testing nor any personality tests, except of course
for
the mandatory drug test. At the end of the day, you're relooped with
the HR staff person and go over any questions you may have. HR @ HSN
is
very, very good about getting back to you on questions if you are a
potential employee. Be sure to ask lots of questions.
