I was contacted approximately 4 months after sending my resume. I was
called in to interview with the Director for nearly 3 hours. Since I was
not from a retail background, I was asked what I could offer The Home
Depot. I responded that since I was from a diferent background I could
bring new ideas and a diferent aspect to a problem. I was then sent for
a second round of interviews with the people that I would be partnering.
They had similar questions, and after a 2 hour interview I was told that
I would be called. One week later I was called by the Director who
stated that I was wanted for the position, but I had to be approved by
corporate management for a district level position. After three weeks
the approval came and I was offered the position.
