With the focus only on the bottom line and little attention paid to Home
Depot's core values and service to the customer, this will eventually
cause a negative impact to the company overall. The company is moving
away from those things that made it successful. Employee morale is low
and getting worse. Customers are complaining about the lack of service
and the lack of sales associates on the floor. I have been told that our
major competition (Lowes) is getting better and we are getting worse. I
have advised friends of mine looking for employment not to look at Home
Depot.
