Like listed above, The Home Depot sometimes does not hire educated
individuals to fill their management and supervisor positions. Their
prices are fair, services very expensive. You can get special services
work done from a private contractor for much less. Employee morale is
down in every location I've visited since management come and go very
often. If you are going full time and don't mind working nights, The
Home Depot pay is fine and just about enough to afford an apartment or
mortgage payment if you are living with someone. I wouldn't work for
them long term (after a few years) but it's a good starting point for a
retired person or single person.
