This business is all about change, but who knows why? I saw many
merchandising changes that only lasted a week. The management would all
get crazy about a new end cap, merchandise display, and take 2 - 3
people to build it then it would come down in a week or two. The time
spent on the project would have been better served helping customers or
training but that's not the HD way. Lots of waisted effort for the
hourly folks, while the management tries to please the district and
upper level managers.
