Holiday Corp. offers many job oppertunities such as advancement and
cross training for the oppertunity to work more hours, earn more money
and to continually learn. Their main objective is to comfortably house
senior citzens in an upscale, clean, enjoyable enviornment. The staff
in each department are expected to wear clean, dressy black and white
uniforms. The staff is very carefully picked because pleasantness, care
and concern and respect for the residents is fore most. Employees are
all well trained with very specific guidelines to keep an upscale,
clean, pleasant, carring image. Constantly expressed by management was
concern that the employees made the resident feel at home. Employees
were asked to report any health concerns to management wether it be
physical or mental. Management and Co-Management alternated being on
call in case of emergencies for the residents. This gave the residents
a secure feeling because their other family members weren't always
around. Also a big concern was tasty, healthy, well prepared full
course meals of which the resident could pick from a choice of three
different entries at each mealtime. Good wages, overtime, good benefits
and a
friendly working enviornment are all packaged together nicely at Holiday
Corp.
