Job Title Salary Survey
Preconstruction Enginner I signed on at at Salary of $43,000 in January of 2003. I received a $1000 raise in April 0f 2003, and a promotion in September which kicked in another $2000. In December 2003 I was given a bonus of $750. In April of 2004 I received another raise of $2500, as well as an $800 direct kick into my 401K. For the time being I get 2 weeks paid vacation along with 10 or so paid holidays. My manager is very good about allowing you time to take care of the everyday things that come up. For example car maintenance, bill paying, meeting repairmen at your house, etc. He even allows a few extra vacation days if required. All business expenses are reimbursed. Lunch meals are frequently bought by the company and dinner is always company paid when working late.
