Job Title Interview Survey
Customer Support Analyst The process was that I was first recommended from a friend who happened to work with the company. They needed a night person who was responsible and needed little supervision. I first interviewed by email answering a few questions and faxing and emailing a resume to the manager of the department. Later this manager called to interview me and we had quite a long discussion if I remember correctly concerning the jobs as well as personal interest for the two of us which happened to coincide. Then there was a follow-up phone call that was a secondary more technical interview which was done with the manager and a support team memeber. Finally there was a small test sent to me to take asking about situations and commands for UNIX and Oracle. Took those and returned them and was hired from that point recieved an official offer letter in the mail site unseen (without a personal interview.) I then came in for training. I can remember being asked what exactly was my interest in the position, what kind of customer service experience did I have (because they would be working quite closely with clients), what is my technical backround, what type of working environment works best for me, what type of manager do I like the most, and what is the most interested thing about you.
