I came in from a job fair where they were interviewing on the spot. I
was among 400 applicants and didn't think I had a chance! There was a
short pre-screen interview, then a powerpoint presentation on the joy
of working at Hewitt. Second interviews were conducted by members of HR
and Unit managers from client teams in the building. The interview is
behavioral and the questions are typical: tell me about a time when you
had a lot of things to do and very little time to accomplish them, how
did you handle that? Tell me about a time when you were under pressure
to learn something new very quickly? etc. They are looking for answers
that demonstrate teamwork/cooperation, organizational skills, learning
agility, flexibility and adaptability, attitude, and customer service
skills.
