Yes, I am still an employee at HealthFirst. My pay period is every two weeks and
I have a part time benefits package (medical, dental, life, 401k and long term
disability). I can accumulate personal leave pay as well as vacation time pay.
This package keeps building up with the length of my employment with the company.
I try to use all my vacation time to ease the long term demands of the job and to
use the personal leave as deemed appropriate. I earn a salary increase once
yearly and a bonus is given to all employees at Christmas. Other perks are
involved also. Our organization organizes book sales, bake sales and jewlery
sales, and emoloyees get a discount. The money made from these sales goes to our
much appreciated volunteer department as we depend on our volunteers and love
them very much. They are much needed in every department of the organization. YES
we have volunteers! They get free trips and other benefits such as reduced prices
at the cafeteria and reduced health care costs at the HealthFirst facilities if
they become sick or disabled.
