The business outlook of the company is to continue to stay in the niche
and specialized market of coastal, port, and harbor engineering. A big
strength of this company is that it is a leader in the NY Metro Area
and tends to get exciting work overseas. Many of their structural
engineers are also professional divers so underwater inspections for
structural defects is a good part of their business. Employee morale is
excellent, not much turnover. Leaders of the firm are excellent
business and project managers, and have an extraordinary business
sense. Services are respected by all clients and there is a tendency to
maintain the same clients based on the quality of previous work. I
highly recommend this firm to any structural engineer that has an
interest in port, harbor, marine, civil, or structural engineering.
There are too many opportunities for advancement. This company is
highly respected in the engineering field and has been retained as a
subconsultant to many larger structural engineering firms.
