| Engineering Service Coordinator |
HCA was a reasonably good place to work, the hours were good, dress code
was reasonable. Opportunities for advancement was not always good. The
location I worked, promoted employee satisfaction. Employees were
encouraged to take time away from their desk and speak to visitors in
the facility as well as other associates. Recognition of acheivement or
goals met. Yearly a celebration for all employees was conducted
called "Hospital Week". The celebration was held to promote moral,
encourage the association of co-workers. The employees participated in
Karaoke, skits, ice cream parties, treasure hunts, drawings and many
more activities. The company is strongly concerned about the health and
wellfare of the employees. I can't speak for all the facilities in
Chattanooga or the surrounding areas but this one cared, and it was like
a family all working together. I know that my perception of HCA, was
effected by my direct supervision. As the Coordinator my job required
me to be visit most every department of the facility on a regular basis,
and for the most I found people content with their jobs. I have to say
that overall I was very pleased with my time at HCA.
