The Culture is moving from entitlement to merit based to almost
completely performance driven in a relative short period of time. This
was done through heavy turnover in senior Mgt. for
the homeoffice; the Field force is also drive for better results. New
external Mgt. in key positions means great variety in management style
and culture but most department are bottom line-performance driven.
The Home office Turnover due to poor performance and reorganization
opens up frequent opportunities most of which are recently filled by
external candidates. However the future may hold promtions for this new
more skilled employee.
The operational positions, claims-Adm etc. are at risk of being down-
sized to reduce expenses. Acceptin positions outside NYC maybe risky.
