| Mid Management |
The culture has become one of distrust of all but a select few who now
make decisions at a micro level. People in leadership roles have
reduced themselves to being managers, managers have been reduced to
administrators. While mid and senior management at the company has
never been world class, it was at least functioning, now there are only
generals and privates. Company needs to empower management to succeed
or fail, reward success and punish failure. As it is, people who know
nothing about certain aspects of the business make multi million dollar
decisions, and when they fail, artfully dodge the blame and assign it
to others. While weeding out an organization is good, many that stay
are those that were lucky to have been hired by incompetents like
themselves years ago,and couldn't get hired by another company anywhere
near the level they have reached at Guardian. The ones that leave
voluntarily are usually the very people the company cannot afford to
lose. Its happening now.
