I had a relationship with the national director of operations who was
aware of my skillset and invited me to interview for my old position.
I interviewed with the head of the Eastern Region who offered me the
position within a week. Because I am responsible for hiring and
performance for senior level positions within the region, I know that
the normal hiring of a senior level candidate take between 3 and 6
months. There were many people in the organization who knew me and the
process was expedited. The questions that I was asked were how I would
approach things specific to the operations. I asked questions related
to the support of the Corporate positions above me since some of that
was lacking in my previous stay.
