Working at A&P has for the most part been a really nice experience.
This company has taught me alot about unions and employers. Unions were
created to help the little guy, but when you get into such a large
company such as A&P, the union gets a little flustered. The union in
our store always helps the wrong people, the people that don't do the
work, and just want every thing for nothing. A&P is a company that gets
the job done, when you do a good job, they expect you to do an even
better job. After 10 years of service at A&P, my job security is
questionable and my store security is unsure and all the emlpoyees are
out to get one another. We went from a family like atmosphere 5 years
ago to a cut throat, demanding, overaged staffing crisis overnight. But
for some unknown reason I will go to work tomorrow and say hello to
everyone, and give the company 110%, just to have the same resault
happen all over again at quitting time.
