The company has a very positive outlook, but many people question if
this industry can survive and penetrate the market any further. It
caters to small and medium size businesses with 10-100 employees. Large
businesses generally do not require outsourced HR, so the company has a
limited market. There are several competitors in the industry. People do
say that Gevity's services are a bit higher priced than some of the
competitors. Additionally, internal HR is trying to make the company an
employer of choice and is doing vast amounts of research to make this a
reality. Employees here understand their jobs, but some say they have
too much on their plates. For salespeople, this is a very tough product
to push and explain. Selling outsourced people management and HR
functions is pretty abstract so it takes a lot of background knowledge
to fully understand what's going on and what you are selling. Please
research this industry and develop an understanding before you apply.
