1. Salary - for international employees is around $22K per annum for Tax Exempt
employees and around $35K for US employees. Working hours are 40 / week, anything
beynd that is Overtime (hour OT = 1.5 regular hrs) and for Sunday (Sabath day)
and National Holidays it is double time (Hr DT = 2 x reg Hr), so the core of your
salary comes from here, Hence, to make your money, one tends to work longer hours
and weekends.
2. 401K plan where you are entitles to participate in 7% of your Basis Salary
and GE will share up to 3,5%. For an Expat (Non US employee), you get a 401A
plan, managed by ALICO (AIG), where you will be entitled to partcipate with 3% of
your salary and GE contributes up to 1.5% of your Basic Salary ($22K) and such
funds will be invested in money market and SE Asia funds.
