They do seek and often find good people. First level of interview is telephone screening. After that you are invited for on-site interview. you will give a Seminar followed by 2-3 one to one interview. At the end of the day you will be ranked by everyone... and the score will determine if you get an offer or not. Few Caveats: GE dees not do any research... the managers are very good at lying so make sure you interview the manager very well. Take note at the type ad things in the office... look for signs like most of the managers/team leaders are separated or divorced... indicating poor work-life balance.
