Pay varies greatly and depends on your ability to negotiate. Negotiate for the
best package up front, as raises have been few and far between and advancement
is
not well mapped out.
Base - $105,000 and $15,000 bonus (if firm, business unit and you make your
internal targets - last year 2003, they did not)
Signing Bonus - $10,000 (don't know if they do this any more)
Stock options - 5,000 (personally not of a great value to me, all of mine, circa
2001, are under water)
Insurance - generous and does provide benefits to partners
Vacation - 26 days per year, but must hit target in order to take vacation (no
sick days just one vat of time for you to use)
Maybe 8 paid holidays during the year.
If you work from home they will pay for a broadband connection and a printer,
you can take this option anytime and I recommend that you do so only after you
build up a stroing reputation within the office as a hard worker, otherwise out
of sight out of mind (advancement and longevity could be at risk).
