I had two rounds of interviews as a lateral hire. I first met with
several partners and associates in the Princeton office. I then met
with the head of my department in Philadelphia. There was no magic to
the interview process. It was more of a personality screen than a
technical interview. I'm sure that differs for first years.
The firm has an active summer associate program. The program is more
like "summer camp" because of all of the scheduled social activities.
However, they also work hard and are kept busy. In fact, often times
the summer associates get better work than the associates. Most
summer's get an offer, and most that do get an offer take it.
