The main interview process was in a "presentation" format since I had
been with the company for over 6 years and in the college industry for
over 15 years. I was told to bring a two day training schedule (things
I felt a new store manager or the manager of a new acquisition would
need to know about our business). It was to be an hour and I made the
presentation to the HR department, and recruiters. I did a combination
of class room presentation and role play and had some handouts and my
detailed agenda. I was up against two other candidates. The main
questions dealing with this particular position was relocation
requirements (I had already relocated twice with the company) and if I
would mind being away from home as much as two weeks at a time. I was
asked how I would deal with a new employee (some acquisitions were
apprehensive about a "corportation" moving in to take over from the
university and can be "uncooperative"). I was also asked how I would
handle working with someone that was very different from myself
culturally. There were three rounds of interviews.
