The corporate culture is professional and friendly. The senior
management of the company are also majority owners of the publicly
traded company, which provdies an entreprenurial feel. The owners seem
to promote based on the value of an employee not the length of time
employed at the organization. It is generally easy to get a decision
from the owners as opposed to waiting for a committee to make a
decision. This is of great benefit to react quickly to a situation and
provdies flexibility so you spend your time wisely. The dress code is
relaxed with business casual the normal dress. Hours are typically 8:30
to 5:00 for staff people but more flexible for line people. Most of the
employees in line positions are commission, so they work as many hours
as necessary to make the amount of income that they desire. Since the
organization is a residential lender, most of the line people work what
is necessary to meet their customers needs. The senior management and
owners actively treat their employees to several events during the year
for the entire company to foster that "family" environment. I personally
have found it a very good place to work since I have been employed.
