It is an internal medicine practice that offers 5 different physicians to patients. The office employs a total of 26 people. The physicians are all male, while the rest of the office staff is female. There is a little descrimination toward male employees, other than doctors, that I have witnessed while being employed. The hours are wonderful, 9-5 with an hour paid lunch, I couldn't ask for anything better. Our dress code is that typical of a medical practice, the back clinical staff wears scrubs, while the front office staff and doctors dress in business attire. There isn't much opportunity for advancement since everyone other than the office manager and clinical team leader are pretty much on the same level. The office hires Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Certified Medical Assistants (CMAs) for the clinical team. There is a definite team-oriented feel in the entire office, which makes things run smoothly.
