This was my second job at Firemans Fund and it was better than the
first! The company environment is one of mutual support and respect.
People go out of their way to assist each other, regardless of their job
level. I had Directors and Vice-Presidents stop by my cubicle if they
felt they had a contribution. And, it was all done in a positive tone.
No "Hey Dummy, why don't you do this"
The employees (at all levels) are among the brightest I've ever worked
with and on top of that, they're nice people.
Other companies should take a lesson from Fireman's Fund. A lot more can
be accomplished when people work together, focused on mutual goals.
