Fidelity's Personal Investments group has highly-trained employees.
Branch offices range from 5 to 25 people. Drive lately is for more
diversity in the offices. Depending on location and turnover,
opportunities for advancement can vary. Tenure as an FPC in the past
has been 2.5 years (moving on as an account exec or manager) and also
depends on frequency of compenstion plan changes. dress code is
suit/tie. Hours are at least branch hours - 8-5:30 and usually more
for calling leads and appts. becoming an FPC usually requires solid
outside experience and success with another full-service firm, or
working your way up through the branch organization - starting as an
Fin Rep doing basic sales and cust service, than an Inv Rep, more sales
but no direct comp for sales, then the FPC.
