I would compare it to some companies have the slogan, "We work hard, we play hard." Fegusons motto is "We just work hard." This is because Ferguson hasn't moved into the 21st century and doesn't understand that a truely successful company and one that will last is one that is going to value its employees. Ferguson does not value its employees. If it did it wouldnt require 55 hour work weeks with minimal pay. It wouldnt require employees to work Christmas Eve or the day after Thanksgiving. I mean what plumber works Christmas Eve anyway. It also would allow a lunch break that doesnt include eating at your desk everyday while you work. It also has a "good ol' boy" culture. All I'm going to say is minorities beware. Dress code is fine. Normal uniforms for warehouse associates and shirt and tie for management and sales people. Opportunities for advancement at Ferguson is based on how much ass you kiss. If you're good, work for Ferguson, it'll get you far.
